Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Customers rave about the delicious haddock, which is praised for its crispy batter and flavorful preparation. The portion sizes are generous, providing good value for the reasonable prices. Folks adore the casual vibe and friendly service, making every visit feel like a local gathering. Many enjoy the variety in the menu, from classic fish and chips to children's meal options. Additionally, the owner has a delightful personality, brightening the atmosphere with spontaneous singing, which adds a unique touch to the dining experience here.

Most Disliked

Some diners mention the restaurant's limited seating as a drawback, noting that only eight people can dine in at once. At peak times, this may lead to long waits or the need to grab a takeaway. Parking can also be a challenge, with only a couple of spaces directly available on the street, prompting visitors to scout nearby areas. While some customers appreciate the simplicity of the menu, others wish for more diverse offerings beyond the traditional fish and chips. Finally, a few reviews mention that the small size of the establishment makes it easy to miss when driving by.

Lovely, tidy, but tiny chippy. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's hardly any parking (2 spaces on the street opposite the shop) and only around 8 seats inside. So try your luck, but at busier times, plan on parking nearby and walking over. Well worth it though. Food was great 👍. I had haddock and chips, which was excellent. Will go again when next in the area.
